Here you update us on your snow status, example: is it falling or no, falling rate and, etc. My current experience is an average of ten inches of snow. I saw it snow significantly in the morning, and saw it turn into a blizzard around an hour later and continuing till 2:30 PM! I had to walk some of my way home trough about ten inches of snow today! And it stopped snowing about an hour before this post was posted [if you're not sure witch time this post was posted, it was posted at 6:07 PM]. It might snow lots tomorrow as well!

Today we went trough a moderate blizzard. Those were some puffy snow flakes falling. And at what a speed and density they were falling! It might just snow again tonight. We have an average of nine inches of snow. It is extremely tough walking home from school! It is cold, but enough for me to bare. Yup, you know I like it freezing. It's -3 deg. celsius outside. Hmm, based on today's weather report, they said flurries. Maybe that blizzard was a big flurrie.

Holy crap. Some of the snow has melted! This is a prety ****ty winter so far! I hate warm climate in winter. About one inch of snow has melted. That sucks. We should ban the use of fossil fuel-burning industries all together to prevent any warmer winter climates.

Personally I hate and like winter. I hate the cold climate because I am from a country that has summer weather all the time. The snow is fun to play with and throw at people we hate.
Man, about one and a half inches must have melted today! I think it's because Canada has a sharply alternating climate, hence our extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. No wonder Canada has one of the most extreme temperature spectrums. It's probably in the way of a very big global wind cell or something. Or it is because we're close to water, so it's probably a lake effect. Who knows for sure.

Finally, as of today (Dec. 18. 2006), we got about two inches of snow (that's about five centimetres of fresh snow). It's nothing much, but there is enough for me to tobbogan on. That's a fairly deacent ammount of snow today. I was surprised this morning as it had been raining last night.

Breaktrough. Some snow has fallen, about one cm. (less than half an inch.) To make it worse, this snowfall was not even. There were near-empty and empty spots. Very little fell, but it was good, considering this Winter's near-****ty, sunny weather. And there is some ice too. So overal, this is a good week in terms of Winter weather. But today (Feb. 6. 2006), some deacent ammount has melted, around half, to be precise.
Oh, and the swear-word coverup standed for the letters: S, H, I and T. I don't know how to get rid of those swear-word coverups.

Once again, there has been some snow yesterday, and as of today (February, 11, 2006), snow has started to fall moderatly in the morning. It started picking up somewhere after. It is snowing with great frequency now. This is a very exciting time for me. This is definitelly a big comeback for this year's Winter. As of now, I am not going to check the depth of the snow; better let it snow untill it stops, then go and take measurements. I don't know for sure but it looks like it will stop snowing for today somewhere around six P.M. But I'll take a guess now. There seems to be around two inches (around five cm.) of snow. Not the best recorded snowfall but deacent. Deacent is better than nothing. Overall, this looks like good news. I hope to see lots of snow today. It would be even better if it snows extra-hard tomorrow. You'll see more updates today, don't worry.

This winter has been unpridictible. First snow. Then no snow of a month the snow again the it melts away and now more snow. So peter do you think this is strange?
Well, when you look at it from a larger scale it will all make more sense. There are global trade-winds at work, regulating the temperature around the world. So, you will find it more obvious when you take, into account the bigger factors.
Oh, and it is just about time to take measurements, too!

The measurements are here. The so-far highest recorded snowfall is two and a-half inches. These measurements are good while, at the same time, depressing. But this is probably the first portion of the test. More big snow-fall could occur here. Time will tell.
