Airraid sirens being replaced in norway!

Yes I was shocked to. But something called WWS is taking over and ever since then there has been no need to test the airraid siren there anymore. Before WWS the airraid sirens in Norway were tested daily at noon. But now they are not being tested. go on the last website I posted on interesting siren websites to find out more.

It looks like America isn't the only country going forward in public adress-related systems. The new systems that are replacing the old air raid sirens have the same purpouse. You could say that it is sort of like a pager. Pagers are small devices, sending out a small signal. Well, from a safety point of view, this is a good thing; the old air raid sirens are too old to maintain fully without the need for frequent checkups. Take a look at Germany, they are replacing most of their old sirens with newer, speaker-based sirens. But I don't mind scince it is sirens that they're replacing sirens with. So I think the WWS is, in a way, a siren, depending on if it's issuing a siren-type signal or issuing a voice signal (voice signals are a discrace to modern sirens.)
